These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of transportation services provided by Yorktown Taxi & Car Service, operating under WCTLC Base License No. TLC WC: 2600666, with its principal place of business in Yorktown Heights, New York ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking, reserving, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Yorktown Taxi & Car Service provides professional ground transportation services throughout Westchester County, Dutchess County, Putnam County, Connecticut, New York City, and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:
Reservations may be made by phone at (914) 962-7171, via our website booking form, by email at Yorktowntaxi@gmail.com, or by text message. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of confirmation from our dispatch team.
You agree to provide accurate pickup address, destination, date, time, passenger count, and contact information. Yorktown Taxi & Car Service is not responsible for service failures resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
For airport pickups, you agree to provide your correct flight number and airline. We use this information to track your flight and adjust pickup time accordingly. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect flight information.
All fares are quoted at the time of booking. Quoted fares are estimates and may be subject to adjustment based on actual route, traffic conditions, additional stops, waiting time, or changes in service requested by the customer.
Yorktown Taxi & Car Service does not implement surge pricing. Quoted fares reflect our standard rates regardless of time of day, weather conditions, or demand levels.

We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved corporate account billing. Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance.
Cancellations made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the base fare.
For airport pickup reservations, we provide a complimentary waiting period of 45 minutes after the scheduled flight arrival time. After this period, waiting time charges may apply.
A customer who is not present at the designated pickup location within the complimentary waiting period and has not contacted us will be considered a no-show. No-show reservations may be charged the full quoted fare.
Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner during transport. The following are strictly prohibited:
The driver reserves the right to terminate service without refund if a passenger's conduct poses a safety risk or violates these Terms.
Yorktown Taxi & Car Service will make reasonable efforts to assist with luggage. However, we are not responsible for damage to luggage or personal property unless caused by the gross negligence of our drivers. Customers are encouraged to secure valuable items. We are not liable for items left in vehicles, though we will make reasonable efforts to return found property.
While we strive for punctuality, Yorktown Taxi & Car Service is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to notify customers of anticipated delays.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the provision of services shall not exceed the total fare paid for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government orders, pandemic-related restrictions, extreme weather, or civil unrest.
Yorktown Taxi & Car Service operates under WCTLC Base License No. TLC WC: 2600666 issued by the Westchester County Taxi and Limousine Commission. All vehicles are covered by commercial liability insurance as required by applicable law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Passengers traveling with children are responsible for providing appropriate child safety seats as required by New York State law. We can accommodate child seat requests with advance notice, subject to availability. Yorktown Taxi & Car Service is not responsible for injuries to children resulting from failure to use appropriate restraints.
Corporate account holders agree to pay all invoices within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at the rate of 1.5% per month. Corporate accounts may be suspended for non-payment. The corporate account holder is responsible for all charges incurred by authorized users of the account.
We collect personal information (name, phone number, email, pickup and destination addresses) solely for the purpose of providing transportation services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill your reservation or as required by law. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Westchester County, New York.
Yorktown Taxi & Car Service reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
